Bio
Salim Nathoo is a Partner in the Tech team and is based in London. Salim is also a member of the Investment Committees for the Apax Buyout Funds, Apax Digital Funds, Apax Global Impact Funds, the Apax Credit Vehicles, and Apax Global Alpha.
Salim joined Apax in 1999 specialising in the Tech & Telecom space. He has both led and participated in a number of key deals including Inmarsat (2003 and 2019), ThoughtWorks, Candela, EVRY, GlobalLogic, iGATE, Orange Switzerland, Sophos, SMART Technologies, Weather Investments, Tim Hellas, Promethean and Mobifon.
Prior to joining Apax, Salim spent four years at McKinsey & Co. in London and has also held positions at IBM and Nynex.
Salim holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from INSEAD.

From identifying an interesting investment opportunity and building a relationship with visionary founders or management teams, to vigorously debating the opportunities and risks together with highly-talented colleagues who want to get to the right answer. He enjoys working with some fantastic management teams to help take the business to the next stage, with the objective of creating value for all stakeholders.
