Living our values

"My first week at Apax, our Co-Founder, Alan Patricof, called me a “flop”.  I told my mom that I might have to look for a new job.  Alan was challenging and testing me.  Over the past 20 years, he has been an incredible mentor and friend.  His intellectual curiosity combined with his unique energy have been inspirational.  "Impact through insight and tenacity" is a good way to describe Alan and are traits that particularly resonate with me."

Jason's Story

Jason started his career as an early stage venture capitalist.  He has always been inspired by entrepreneurs who were trying to either create or change industries.  Over the years, the transactions have gotten larger but the mission remains the same: bring together world class talent with the vision and the energy to transform industry.  The personal relationships and comradery with these leaders and their teams have been the most satisfying part of the journey.
