Ed is an Analyst in the Digital team. He joined Apax in 2025 and is currently based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, Ed was an Analyst at Five Elms Capital, a B2B SaaS growth equity and buyout firm, where he focused on vertical SaaS, cybersecurity, and infrastructure software. Prior to Five Elms, Ed was an EdTech startup founder and CEO.
Ed holds a B.S. in Commerce and a B.A. in Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law from the University of Virginia.

Ed's Story
Ed’s parents immigrated to the US from Ukraine months before he was born, instilling in him a deep sense of humility, grit, and gratitude as he pursued a lifelong passion for technology. He was immediately drawn to Apax because of the firm's unique investing approach that combines over 50 years of institutional experience with the curiosity and open-mindedness that enables it to remain at the forefront of technology's innovation cycles.
