As a leading global private equity advisory firm, Apax's brand, name, and publicly available information, such as website address, emails, investments, and fund names, may be exploited by fraudsters and cybercriminals. These malicious actors can mislead the public by publishing fake websites, job advertisements or use non-authentic Apax accounts or phone numbers to scam people for personal information or money. These actors are not associated with Apax and Apax is not responsible for the consequences of any of these fraudulent activities.

Apax does not offer investments through social media
Note that Apax does not offer investments to retail investors through social media. Be cautious if you encounter ads or messages on social media (including WhatsApp) from individuals claiming to offer retail products, such as investments, to the general public to be part of the Apax team.
Apax does not engage in cold calling
Apax does not engage in cold calling. If you receive an unsolicited call or email from someone claiming to represent us, it may be fraudulent. Take care not to share any personal information.
Use official Apax digital channels
Always make sure you are interacting with official Apax digital channels.
- Website: i.e. www.apax.com, identifiable by the padlock icon in the browser address bar indicating it is secure.
- Email: verify that any correspondence from Apax personnel comes from an official Apax email address e.g. @apax.com, @apax.gg or @apax.lu.
Read correspondence carefully
Read correspondence carefully. Apax team members are professional and detail oriented so please pay attention to the content of your emails and look out for glaring typos, unnatural/awkward language and unfamiliar links or attachments. Where banking details are involved, please verify any changes by calling your usual Apax contact.
Apax does not hire through social media
Be sceptical of job offers made through email or social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, etc) or through online job boards. Apax does not hire through social media or conduct interviews through messaging services. Also please be aware that Apax would never ask anyone to make a direct payment or to transfer money as part of a job application, nor would it ask prospective employees to execute any trades as part of the job application process..
As phishing tactics continue to become more prevalent, it is crucial to remain vigilant against deceptive actors.
